It might be possible, though fedora is x86 and as such would have a pretty beefy appimage since it still needs docker to run MCPI.
The dedicated server commit has a trouble shooting step for starting the server as the one you provide in TROUBLESHOOTING.md doesn't seem to work, whereas mine does.
